Irvington Community School is a public charter educational institution that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 11 It provides classes in math science social studies and language arts The school follows the guidelines of the Northwest Evaluation Associations Measures of Academic Progress test which include a battery of computerized standardized tests that focus on the assessment of students reading mathematics and language usage abilities It maintains a parentteacherstudent association as well as organization chess dance drama newspaper readers theater card walking optical illusions board games clubs Irvington Community School offers volunteer opportunities for parents and students in various school events and activities It is a recipient of the National Charter Schools Week Proclamation by the president of the United States
